Back in the freezer!

Well, I have not made a post in a while, shame on me. Sorry about that.

I am back in Canada now for a planned six weeks. Meeting with my church and stuff as well as hanging out with my family. It sure seems strange to be back in Canada. Definitely feeling a bit of culture shock/jet lag/readjustment to the climit. The last weeks since my last post in the Philippines were awesome. After the YWAM team left, we just got back to normal life in Agdao and we started to get really involved in the lives of a couple kids. France and Micole. I don't have time to update you on everything that has gone on, but needless to say God has led us to some neat opportunities and God has really worked in the lives of these kids and their families. For the story on Micole go to www.danemmons.com and have a look around. This is another missionary that we work with and he has some good pictures of Micole and some description of what happened with him. He is a kid from one of the tribes we had worked with who we helped get cleft palette surgery for with Operation Smile (http://www.operationsmile.org). They are a really cool organization. We had to take Micole away from his family for several weeks, so it was a wild ride, but God was faithful and everything turned out ok!

Here are some videos of Micole:

I am giving a short presentaion at my church tomorrow, for those that missed it, here is a simplified version:

Well, I am missing Davao and all the people there, but I am glad to be home for awhile and get some rest and meet with people who have been supporting me in prayer. Thanks again for being a part of things. God bless!
