From the Heart

It has been awhile since I just talked about how I am doing on here... lots of pictures and sermon notes, but not too much about me. I have been back here in Agdao for just about two and a half months. Hard to believe huh. It sure feels like a lot longer then that that is for sure.

I have really enjoyed my time the last little while. Definitely been stretched in several situations and it has caused me to grow in my faith, in my dependence on God and has forced me to be more patient and graceful... well, just a little bit more hehe. At this very moment my heart is at peace, in spite of some of the hard things that the ministry has gone through in the last little while... but the dust has started to settle from all of those things and now is the time for us to start to move forward! All of us here sense that God is going to do new and wonderful things. I preached on prayer last week and we started a new weekly prayer meeting on thursday nights. I think that this will be an awesome thing... we had a pretty good turnout on our first night. I hope and prayer that our hunger for God's presence and annointing will continue to grow..

I have been leading a bible study at my home for the last month. I am getting a core group of about 8 guys every week. My vision for this is that we would grow closer to God and be the men that are needed in Agdao! It is fun and they are a great group of guys. We usually close with a funny or meaningful video clip from something. Seems to work well.

I have been so blessed by the support I recieve from my home church (Valley Church ROCKS!). They really are amazing. I miss and love them a lot. I just hope I can live up to the support and concern that they send my way. Well, I best be on my way. See you soon!
